Execution of activities, such as value projects, identifying critical relevant insights to reduce market access barriers, mapping key stakeholders, and establishing relationships with key influencers and decision-makers to shape and accelerate the new Janssen technologies. Be an expert in understanding all health care policies and regulations. Anticipate and advise all topics of pricing changes in the market and pricing approval according to global and region recommendations.
The Senior Manager of Strategic Market Access reports to the Market Access Senior Director and supports overall all Market Access and value creation activities with impact in the short and midterm.
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Analyze market access trends/changes in health policies. Continuous mapping of reimbursement and financing policies for health technologies in the private and public markets in Brazil• Anticipate and identify market access barriers at local levels to reimburse new health technologies.• Develop and prepare the market access strategy for new technologies mapping requirements and local reimbursement policies.• Understand specifics needs from payers and health care Institutions, identifying solutions for the parties' mutual benefit.• Differentiate the products by adapting Janssen's value proposal and history in the local market access context, avoiding price erosion and making it the technology of choice for the payer and the institution.• Works in close collaboration with the regional and global team to define Janssen products' pricing and reimbursement strategy according to the local regulatory policies described by the health authorities.
Qualifications and Experience:
• A college degree is required.• 6 to 8 years of professional experience, with at least five years in the pharma sector focusing on market access and health economics areas.• Experience leading multi-functional teams through influence and capabilities such as Adaptability, resilience, strategic mindset, and teamwork.• Must demonstrate knowledge and success in navigating through changes in the healthcare marketplace, bringing an understanding of the industry's customers, their challenges, and possible future healthcare scenarios to build impactful short- and long-term strategies.• Demonstrated ability to build and implement a strategy- required; strategy focused on consumers/patient journeys/needs – preferred• Deep understanding of the Brazilian healthcare market
