Principal accountabilities
- Oversite and coordination of various warehouse functions, including work order repairs, issuing, receiving, cycle counting, kitting, inventory administration, and computer catalog maintenance
- Problem resolution and support for site, BU, suppliers, and Global Business Services
- Material handling including stocking/returns, pulling for work execution, delivering parts
- Maintain safety & food safety requirements including audit support and responding to audit and best practice recommendations
- Transaction execution and computer related task to support day-to-day activities and running reports as needed
- Miscellaneous job related duties as assigned including but not limited to project work, inventory analysis, safety and food safety support, engagement team, etc
- Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer
- Cargill requires that employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility
- Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
- High School Diploma or GED
- Basic computer skills
- Computer literate including being able to enter and retrieve data
- Ability to lift 25lbs.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous MRO Storeroom work experience
- SAP or other ERP/CMMS system of inventory management (AS/400, Oracle, other)
- Maintenance, purchasing, or sourcing background
- Ability to operate industrial equipment (forklift) safely
