Principal accountabilities

  • Oversite and coordination of various warehouse functions, including work order repairs, issuing, receiving, cycle counting, kitting, inventory administration, and computer catalog maintenance
  • Problem resolution and support for site, BU, suppliers, and Global Business Services
  • Material handling including stocking/returns, pulling for work execution, delivering parts
  • Maintain safety & food safety requirements including audit support and responding to audit and best practice recommendations
  • Transaction execution and computer related task to support day-to-day activities and running reports as needed
  • Miscellaneous job related duties as assigned including but not limited to project work, inventory analysis, safety and food safety support, engagement team, etc
  • Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations
  • Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
  • Other duties as assigned


Required Qualifications:

  • Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer
  • Cargill requires that employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility
  • Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Basic computer skills
  • Computer literate including being able to enter and retrieve data 
  • Ability to lift 25lbs.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous MRO Storeroom work experience
  • SAP or other ERP/CMMS system of inventory management (AS/400, Oracle, other)
  • Maintenance, purchasing, or sourcing background
  • Ability to operate industrial equipment (forklift) safely
