Job Summary: 

The Store Replenishment Analyst owns the recommendations for the item aggregate POS level forecast, the item/store level POS forecast, and the seasonal profiles in the Walmart GRS system. The Store Replenishment Analyst conducts analysis to make sure that all settings in Walmart GRS system are configured and set for best optimizing Colgate’s business. They provide regular communication and analysis of business results to customer service logistics and national account managers, formulate specific action plans to address store instock problems, and maximize opportunities that support both supply chain and sales objectives. They serve as the source of communication regarding all turn and promoted volume for specified categories to Demand Planning, Specialty Packaging, Customer Service and Supply Chain areas. The SRA establishes multi-level relationships with individuals in varied supply chain disciplines within the customer as well as a direct relationship with the National Account Manager in order to ensure maximum effectiveness of forecasting and inventory management initiatives. The SRA has direct interface with the external customer and conducts regular meetings to ensure alignment and achievement of key metrics.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Proactively manage Corporate/DC/Store/Item level forecast changes by ensuring all forecast and order settings are set properly in Walmart’s system.

• Effectively analyze and execute Inventory Policy settings to support all types of features as well as baseline forecasts and track/communicate the Policy to understand its effectiveness

• Manage quarter end execution and expectations to ensure CP Net Sales goals are achieved

• Maintain continuous forecast alignment on current Qtr + 2 additional quarters

• Execute New MOD transitions at both CP and Walmart by ensuring accurate forecasts, MOD fill orders, and accurate replenishment forecasts

• Present/Lead monthly Plan Optimization and CPP meetings on supply chain KPI’s and projects

• Highly skilled in analytics and possesses the ability to dissect big data

• Conduct all pre/post analysis for strategy implementation. Provide feedback to the category teams and Walmart on event accuracy to better replenish future events.

• Analyze corporate, DC, and store level forecasts on continuous basis to identify risks and opportunities to maximize in stocks and sales by submitting GRS policy updates to correct or improve forecast.

• Manage all new items, item changes and pack transitions to ensure proper forecast accuracy and Walmart system order flow are aligned.

• Analyze performance information to identify trends and proactively correct systems disconnects, before out-of-stock instances occur.

• Manage primary customer goals of in-stock, retail inventory, forecast accuracy, and case fill

• Verify for each category promotion that all promo orders are in the system and validate quantities.

• Send out promotional notifications once orders have been transmitted from the customer.

• Conduct monthly collaboration calls with S&D teams to communicate volumes, issues and risk regarding product availability for the event.

• Update the Forecast numbers in APO and update Category Big Pop with both projected and actual quantities by CP location for all promotional events.

• Lead 30/60/90 day meetings with the Walmart Replenishment Managers to ensure all key metrics are achieved along with planning for future programs and events.

• Retail Link proficiency to pull detailed reports to analyze the business and drive store in-stock improvements.

Requirements:

• B.A./B.S. Degree

• 2 years minimum experience in a Customer Service, Finance, Logistics or Sales/Category Development function

• 2 years in a similar Consumer product Supply Chain/Sales/Category Management background Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP working knowledge and experience

• GRS working knowledge and experience

• Wal-Mart Retail Link working knowledge and experience - preferred
