We’re looking for a stock team manager to join our depot in Avonmouth. In this role, you'll be responsible for implementing the product layout strategy within the depot and making sure our warehouse colleagues are able to deliver great service to our stores in the most efficient way. As a stock team manager, you’ll lead, mentor and develop an engaged team, making sure they’re able to provide fantastic customer service and meet the agreed business performance levels. We’ll look to you to drive a culture of continuous improvement and provide fantastic customer service levels and drive measured improvements too.

What you’ll do
• lead, manage, monitor and implement a commodity-based layout within the warehouse
• lead, coach and develop the teams in charge of updating and maintaining various warehouse and stock ordering systems
• review system generated reports to make sure physical and actual stock levels remain synchronised and stock counts are maintained
• work across all areas within the warehouse (chilled and ambient)
• be responsible for the flow of goods from supplier to store
• review and monitor all aspects of Health & Safety, and resolve or report any identified risks or hazard within your areas of responsibility
• drive process and performance improvements
• work collaboratively with teams across the depot
This role would suit someone who have
• previously led, coached and developed a team
• the ability to build relationships with a wide range of people
• proven analytical skills and the ability to work on various computer systems
• knowledge of warehouse management systems
• a keen eye for detail and the ability to spot patterns and trends
• a logical approach to warehouse and product layout
