What is the Amazon Launchpad Startup Developer role?

Working within one of the fastest growing areas of Amazon, you will pitch the Launchpad programme to founders and brand owners of innovative, emerging brands in Asia, identify high potential brands, onboard successful candidates onto the programme, and guide them to unlock growth on Amazon in their first 3 - 12 months. You will also have the opportunity to drive programmatic initiatives for the Amazon Launchpad programme.

Key job responsibilities
· Pitching the Amazon Launchpad Europe programme to sellers interested in expanding to Europe
· Guide your cohort of startups to launch to grow their businesses with the Amazon Launchpad programme benefits
· Own reporting for Asia-based startups entering Europe
· Own the development and evolution of this part of the business as it grows

About the team
Amazon Launchpad is a programme that helps entrepreneurs launch and boost the sales of innovative brands on Amazon by giving members access to benefits.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Self-motivated and results driven
· 1 - 3 years of professional experience, preferably in sales or account management
· Passionate about online business, e-commerce, startups, and business development
· Able to work autonomously, taking responsibility for achieving your business development targets
· An excellent communicator with strong, proven negotiation skills, educated to degree level
· Numerical with the ability to apply intermediate/advanced Excel skills
· Fluent in written and oral English

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Fluency in an Asian language (Chinese, Korean, Japanese preferred)
· Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field
· Demonstrated track record of success in project management
· Experience in e-commerce or retail or startups
· Intermediate/advanced SQL/ETL skills
· Experience in data analysis – either professional experience or through education
