As a key member of our Manufacturing Accounting team, the Staff Accountant will play an integral part in the collection and reporting of financial data for the Americas Division. Specific duties include the following:

• Training of New Plant Accountants
• Review & Analysis of Plant Month End results
• Completion of monthly, quarterly and year-end closes
• Sarbanes-Oxley Testing
• Budgeting, cash flow & financial statement preparation and analysis
• Account consolidations & reconciliations
• Preparation of journal entries
• Special projects and audits

Job Requirements

In addition to the qualifications and experience listed above, the ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting – MBA or CMA a plus
• 0-3 years related experience. Manufacturing experience preferred
• Experience with Hyperion consolidation or similar software desired
• Familiarity with the AS/400 System a plus
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
• Strong project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
