Position Summary:

 Under minimal supervision, performs a variety of general accounting support tasks. Reconciles accounts and prepares reports for internal company employees and management, external vendors, and customers. Emphasis on daily accounting for cash, fixed assets, reporting to suppliers and preparation of tax returns. Assists with implementing practices, policies and procedures to provide accurate and timely financial information and management reports, and strong internal controls to safeguard assets of the Company.

 Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

• Reconcile cash accounts to bank statements on a daily basis.
• Prepare miscellaneous month end financial schedules and reports. 
• Maintain Fixed Assets Records including acquisitions, dispositions, and asset verification audits.
• Understand and ensure accurate completion of A/R, A/P, settlement, cash, and inventory functions. 
• Prepare monthly brewery filings for rebates associated with discounts given on product. 
• Reconcile monthly intercompany accounting cross charges. 
• Prepare monthly Beer and Wine tax, quarterly Sales & Use Tax Returns and annual business licenses.
• Assist with quarterly balance sheet reporting and year-end audit process. 
• Observe periodic physical inventory counts.
• Special projects including analysis of controls and implementation of process improvements.
• Any other projects or duties as assigned.
