Primary Purpose: Summary of major reason this job exists.

Responsible for several aspects of Treasury, primarily focused on foreign currency and commodity hedging strategies, credit, as well as domestic cash management and investments.  Also, assist with key special projects and provide financial analysis for Board meeting presentations.  Ideal candidate will be a self-starter who embraces new challenges as learning opportunities and is open to advancement opportunities across the finance function.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Majority of duties performed, but not meant to be all-inclusive or to prevent other duties from being assigned.

  • Propose strategies to leadership, with the goal of mitigating the Company’s risk exposure to foreign currency and commodity price volatility
  • Build and sustain relationships with bank group to stay apprised of developing trends and economic activities impacting the business
  • Assist with bank related compliance (e.g. ISDA, Dodd Frank and EMIR)
  • Lead FX and commodity hedge process integration of future acquisitions
  • Provide analysis quantifying the foreign currency and commodity price impact on financial results 
  • Form relationships with cross-functional internal teams including accounting, tax and global entities to support hedging and risk management programs
  • Leverage various platforms to execute, match and account for all FX trades
  • Ensure adequate controls are in place, documented, monitored and tested to ensure compliance with policies; update policies as required

Job Specifications: Knowledge, skills, and abilities normally required for competent performance in the job.

  • B.S. degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
  • 3-6 years’ experience.  Work experience in a multinational, multidivisional treasury, finance or accounting function or public accounting role preferred
  • Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong quantitative background and understanding of complex financial instruments
  • High level of curiosity to explore, learn and understand business information
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
