Sr. Supply Excellence Program Coach - Remote

The MSE Coach for PM is a critical member of the Supply Excellence team and is accountable for the regional implementation and success of the PM Pillar. As the Regional PM Pillar leader, they are responsible for direction setting and transformative change at all layers of the organization. This position can work remotely, located near one of the Mars Chocolate facilities.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree or comparable, relevant work experience
  • Minimum 8 years manufacturing experience (CPG preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years TPM or lean manufacturing experience
  • Technical team leadership experience preferred
  • Proven experience as a coach/trainer/mentor. 
  • Ability to manage stakeholders and influence without authority.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills. 
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to set priorities. 
  • Process and detail oriented with a “hands-on” approach.

What will be your key responsibilities?

As the Regional PM Pillar leader, they are responsible for direction setting and transformative change at all layers of the organization by:

  • Partnering with the Regional MSE team to develop and support the overall implementation strategy for MSE (particularly PM).
  • Partnering with the Global PM Pillar leader to create a 5-year vision and long term strategy for PM Pillar progression within the Sites which includes:
    • Developing or supporting the development of training materials needed to create this vision.
    • Implementing a coaching and auditing process to ensure successful implementation of this strategy.
  • Building capability of all PM pillar leaders enabling them to build site capability.
  • Leading the Technical Manager regional Community of Practice.  Establishing network priorities, standards, and strategy across North American factories.
  • Partnering with the Engineering Effectiveness Manager to set direction for the Technical Manager and Engineering Community by:
    • Being an active and integrated member of the technical team;
    • Co-leading this team to establish regional priorities; and,
    • Driving accountability for priority work streams.
    • This work should support the PM Pillar, MSE & Engineering Long Term Vision.
  • Leading the technical team to deliver regional stockroom standardization thereby delivering the regional MRO strategy.
  • Future State:  this role will also be responsible for the development and implementation strategy for EM.
