LightStream\'s Software Engineers develop next-generation banking and finance technologies. We\'re looking for engineers with experience working in financial institutions who are ready to raise the bar, bring new ideas, and change the way that banking technology is built and delivered.  As a Software Engineer, you will work on a specific project critical to LightStream’s needs with opportunities to switch teams and projects as you and our fast-paced business grow and evolve. We need our engineers to be versatile, display leadership qualities and be enthusiastic to take on new problems across the full-stack as we continue to push technology forward.

With your technical expertise you will manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.
As a Senior Software Engineer for iOS and Android Mobile Apps, you will develop mobile applications, design and implement full stack app foundation features as well as core app features from ground-up that enable devices to provide delightful user experiences.

Responsibilities
·      Work on Android and iOS mobile applications, cloud services, and tools.
·      Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve mobile applications.
·      Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
·      Build products that can scale for users across the country.
 

Required Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s Degree and six to ten years of experience or equivalent education and software engineering training or experience
2. In-depth knowledge in information systems and ability to identify, apply, and implement best practices
3. Understanding of key business processes and competitive strategies related to the IT function
4. Ability to plan and manage projects and solve complex problems by applying best practices
5. Ability to provide direction and mentor less experienced teammates. Ability to interpret and convey complex, difficult, or sensitive information
 

Preferred Qualifications

1. Bachelor\'s or Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
2. 5 years of experience in Android and iOS mobile applications, cloud services, and tools
3. Experience working with iOS or Android mobile applications in Swift or Kotlin
4. Experience in software development using one or more general purpose programming languages
5. Experience with APIs, AWS, Device and Network management
6. Ability to share knowledge through formal mentoring, reviewing code, reviewing design documents, giving technical talks, teaching classes, and/or as a consultant on projects
7. Ability and interest to learn other coding languages as needed
