What you'll do: 

• Develop components and frameworks in support of Creative Cloud Canvas, Adobe’s new web-based creative tool. Collaborate with engineers who work on Creative Cloud products such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, InDesign, and XD to deliver great customer experiences. 

• Develop high-performance, reliable, testable, well documented and maintainable code. 

• Work well both independently and collaboratively within a fast-moving development team, with clear, positive, and constructive communication. 

• Grow with the support of your team and help others on the team grow by providing thoughtful feedback and uplifting those around you. 

• Strive to build an inclusive team supporting diverse opinions. 

• Work closely with customers to understand their workflows and needs, and adapt or pivot quickly based on their feedback. 

What you'll need to succeed: 

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent industry experience. 

• A minimum of seven years of overall development experience. 

• Strong Web development experience, specifically with JavaScript/Typescript and ES6.

• Web application performance optimization experience - from coding practices to bundling and deployment. 

• Proficient with CI/CD and automation pipelines, and be comfortable providing guidance on best practices for DevOps and SRE functions 

• Experience with Agile development processes including Scrum. 

• A passion for empowering mobile application and web designers to create more engaging experiences. 

• Proven results-oriented person - especially in the areas of writing high-performance, reliable, and maintainable code. 

• Works well in a distributed team environment across multiple geographies; can develop strong working relationships and promote a positive, collaborative tone. 

• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; can effectively articulate complex ideas and influence others through well-reasoned explanations. 

• A good sense of humor is a big plus! 

Bonus Qualifications: 

• Experience with Web Components / React / similar UI frameworks. 

• Deep design knowledge and passion for design tools. Experience developing design tools a plus.
