We’re looking for a passionate and dynamic individual to join our Purchasing organization as a Senior Purchase Manager, Grooming Purchases Organization in Boston, MA.  What will you do: Gillette blades and cartridges are defined as the core of the Grooming Business. This critical role in our Grooming Purchases organization enables the feedstock sourcing for making Blades and Cartridges, and responsible for leading the sourcing strategy of Global Metals (Blade Steel, Stainless Steel, Aluminum) and Blade Processing Chemicals - the secret sauce that makes Gillette blades superior to competition. The role is global - and you will be responsible for managing supplies across eight manufacturing sites spread around the globe. Given the critical nature of the materials - this role has visibility across the global management levels (SVP level) and Regional leadership.

Qualifications

Required:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, finance, supply chain management, engineering or related field of study

• 3+ years of strategic sourcing or supply chain management experience through which you demonstrated the ability to: Develop sourcing strategies, lead commercial tactics such as negotiation and competitive bidding, Manage supplier relationships, Influence leadership/peers to drive business value, and/or Analyze and optimize complex supply chains.

• Solid written and verbal communication

• Strong collaboration and analytical skills

• Robust thinking and problem-solving

• A can-do attitude with propensity toward acting with a sense of urgency

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP & Business Warehouse experience
