Summary

Infrastructure Engineering, part of Adobe Technical Services (ATS), is looking for an experienced Program Manager with a passion for people, collaboration, and innovation. We are responsible for driving efficiency through compute virtualization and core data center investment, enabling teams to scale solution offerings in a timely, cost-competitive and automated way. You will help drive cross-organization alignment on efficiencies through IaaS adoption and virtualized workloads, including a data-driven approach to capacity planning and hardware lifecycle management. You will also directly contribute and help drive data center growth, planning, optimization of day-to-day and long-term projects, and business alignment on data center and hosting strategy. Aligning with and drive collaborative decisions in coordination with the technical managers within and outside Infrastructure Engineering is essential to this role.

Job Responsibilities

• Align and work closely with technical managers to lead infrastructure engineering programs
• Drive discussions regarding project scope, achievements, schedule, definition of done, delivery planning, interdependencies, and execution
• Model growth and trends to enable accurate strategic projections and capacity planning
• Effectively communicate to leadership and partners regarding real-time project status, including prioritization, risks and mitigation plans to support decision making
• Understand the business and product needs and respective drivers, asking direct questions, and facilitating partner teams to drive efficiency in data center environments
• Champion project management and Scrum/Agile events and standard methodologies
• Develop and defend data-driven business justifications for infrastructure engineering decisions
• Coordinate the transformation of business requirements into actions (i.e., roadmaps, project plans)
• Identify, prioritize, mitigate and resolve project risks in accordance with organizational priorities and resources
• Provide detailed reporting for both executive and operational audiences subject to project scope and status
• Prioritize and lead multiple high priority workstreams
• Adjust communications to varying partners through articulating business value to leaders and understanding technical jargon when meeting with engineering teams
• Translate technical requirements into executable and measurable tasks

Skills Needed:

• Experience in Agile and JIRA
• Strong capability to analyze data and communicate it towards enabling timely business decisions
• Good communication and meeting facilitation skills, including native-level proficiency in English language and grammar suitable for executive audiences
• Excellent organization skills with proven attention to detail
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely to diverse audiences while under time constraints and operational pressure, including creating dashboards, meeting notes, executive summaries, briefings, etc.
• Ability to work with remote team members across multiple time zones
• Experience influencing product and engineering teams to achieve a common outcome
• Knowledge of enterprise applications, security, and infrastructure (network, storage, data center operations, computer, etc.) is strongly desired
• Skilled with analyzing data in various formats including Excel and presenting data in a meaningful way

What you need to succeed

• Minimum of seven years’ experience as a multi-functional program manager in software and/or related technology industry with preference to cloud-based environments

• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills

• Ability to adapt to change and lead complex situations, people and technologies

• Strong influencing and communication skills, and ability to develop strong relationships
• Financial and budget planning experienced considered a plus
