Job Summary:

The position is part of the Enterprise Technology Process & Performance organization. Our charter is to establish and measure performance across BU’s and act as a process competency center for an effective and efficient organization. Our key priorities are to drive efficiencies more cohesively across our technology teams, establish performance analytics and reporting, instill a culture of talent development and learning, strengthen Demand Management, drive excellence in our PMO practices to ensure project quality, and optimize core organization process and partnerships.

In this role, you will operate as a Chief of Staff and report to the VP of Technology for Process & Performance with a dotted line to Technology Leadership Team member at the SVP, VP level. This role is a critical member of the functional leadership team and is responsible for effectively driving the business operations of that organization, managing specific organizational strategies, and facilitating the strategic planning processes.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning:

  • Actively involved in executive strategic planning processes and communication of organizational priorities;
    • Strategic planning, development, and support of execution/monitoring
      • Responsible for understanding, articulating, and developing executive presentations and strategic materials and presentations
  • Identify decisions that need to be made to support strategy, ensuring decisions are made by the right cross-team leaders and monitor ongoing progress
  • Partner with Portfolio Mgmt. team on portfolio metrics and cost analysis and provide regular reports to key leadership
  • Represents positions to the entire leadership team, communicate with the organization, as well as external stakeholders
  • Thought partner and trusted resource for the leadership team
  • Clarifies tactical issues before they reach the Executive
  • Partner with the TP&P communications team, to define communication strategy for the function and partner on execution

Organizational Portfolio Oversight

  • In alignment with the TPP Portfolio team, this role will champion the use of formal Enterprise Technology Project and Portfolio Management toolkits to consistently plan, track, and report on projects
  • Provide and coordinate inputs to project portfolio management, project budgeting and forecasting, headcount management and other data/requirements for resource allocation and demand management
  • Will lead and manage several of the organization’s high priority organizational and change initiatives to enhance and ensure accountability to commitments
  • Contribute and partner with the TPP Leadership team to measures effectiveness, quality, and maturity
  • Primary coordination for technology business operations processes, process improvement strategies, and organizational metrics and analytics for the TPP team
  • Provide background and inputs to the 5YP, Annual Operating Plan (AOP), and forecasting processes

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years in IT/IS
  • Experience working effectively in a matrix environment, managing numerous stakeholders
  • Project/program management; change management expertise
  • Advanced skills in PowerPoint, Excel
  • Advanced Powerpoint skills or similar presentation tools

Required Education

BA/BS in computer science/technology or business, or equivalent work experience

Preferred Education

  • MS or MBA
  • Management consulting experience and/or IT/IS experience in an entertainment/media/consumer products company
