Amazon is seeking a commercial savvy Product Leader to join the Prime Video Channels team. This individual will support business stakeholders with leading the ideation and development process of key Product features. Specifically they will be responsible for scaling up Prime Video's Free-to-Air live TV channels across Europe. They will conduct ongoing deep-dive analysis of consumer engagement metrics and industry trends to provide recommendations on how to grow the proposition and what features/services to prioritise. They will own the onboarding of Free-to-Air TV channels and coordinate across Commercial, Legal, Finance, Marketing, Accounting, BI, and Tech teams.
This role is expected to build trusting relationships with teams locally and overseas. This is a highly visible role that is expected to make key contributions to the growth of our Free-to-Air business in Europe.
Responsibilities
· Develop strategies to on-board Free-to-Air TV Channels across our European territories
· Work with stakeholders across Content Acquisition, Legal, Finance, Tech, and Accounting to launch new broadcasters and Features
· Ideate new Live TV product features and automation opportunities
· Lead meetings with external partners and serve as a touch point between commercial and tech teams
· Run a bi-weekly global Product Review meeting
· Experience with product cycles of 6+ months
· Experience owning roadmap strategy and definition
· Experience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
· Experience with end to end product delivery
· Experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology
· Deep understanding of OTT and broadcast TV
· Experience in programmatic ad insertion and video advertising
· Experience in roles requiring data analysis, trends and improvement opportunity identification and influencing others to drive change
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), and comfortable with driving cross-functional collaboration
· Experience of creating and/or improving operational processes across teams/stakeholders
· Experience with SQL and Excel
