Key job responsibilities
The Program Manager will use data and customer insights to build programs for early career talent that drive positive onboarding experiences, increase onboarding velocity, and add to the talent flywheel. In this role, the Program Manager will build engaging experiences for new campus hires across the globe. To do so, this role requires strong communication skills (verbal and written), experience influencing stakeholders across teams and disciplines, and a data-driven approach to program management.

A day in the life
Every day, the Program Manager will work backwards from customer experiences and anecdotes to build a best-in-class experience for every campus new hire. This role includes support across the lifecycle of the employee's first year at Amazon - including driving positive onboarding experiences, creating engaging events and opportunities for employees to learn about Amazon and grow their career at Amazon, supporting campus new hire managers, and ensuring successful development. It requires a mix of day-to-day execution with long-term thinking, and engages hundreds of stakeholders across Amazon and thousands of new campus hires and their managers.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience operating large-scale and/or global programs
• Experience using project/program management tools and methodologies
• Experience managing and prioritizing multiple projects and priorities, including client relationships
• Data-driven decision making and quantitative analysis skills
• Strong verbal/written communication & data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively develop and communicate clear, thoughtful, and comprehensive analyses

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in recruiting and/or HR in a high-tech environment
• Successful track record working with cross functional business leaders to gain approvals on proposals and recommendations
• Global experience (program launches in multiple geographies simultaneously)
• Project/program management certification or software development lifecycle experience (agile or other)
• Experience communicating with senior management
