The Sr. Plant Engineer is responsible for the oversight of the Engineering and Maintenance departments for the facility as well as other facility infrastructure functions. Must ensure successful execution of the facilities capital program which can include multiple projects with varying scope, timelines and capital expenditures. He/She develops and manages the overall facility capital and the facility maintenance budget. He/She will also ensure that all engineering aspects of projects as well as associated documentation are in compliance with local and Tom's of Maine quality, legal and EOHS regulations. Overall responsible for " Equipment Management Strategy & Reliability" to manufacture superior quality products while eliminating potential risks to employees and equipment and driving improvement in Plant Efficiency, Quality of product, creating Flexibility, minimizing waste, establishing safe Maintenance work practices and ensuring that the Plant Equipment is safe to operate at all times. Additionally the Sr. Plant Engineer is responsible for managing the MRO (Materials, Repairs and Operating Supplies) program and identifying other potential opportunities for margin improvement. Also needs to build relationships with R&D, Division and Subsidiary business and Supply Chain management, Global Product Supply Engineering, Global Packaging, Quality and EOHS departments, as well as outside consultants and suppliers to ensure the business and technical objectives of all projects are satisfied.
