- This role will partner closely with several stakeholders within the organization including Hiring Managers, Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partners (HRBPs), BMS Legal, Global and Regional/market Finance, Corporate Tax, People Services Total Rewards Operations and other Capability Center teams, third party partners and vendors and the Total Rewards Center of Expertise
- Manages design, implementation and delivery of optimal talent mobility service solutions that meet the needs of all key stakeholders through exhibiting deep subject matter expertise in international and US domestic mobility
- Manages the activities, coaches and develops direct reports, responsible for meeting the People Services, TR Service Line and TM&IS team goals and objectives, delivers against planned strategic project initiatives (BOW) to meet objectives and delivers against the TM&IS (relocation, tax, immigration) budgets. Actively seeks to maintain own and team’s knowledge on current best practices, industry standards, and leading-edge benefits operations and technology solutions in order to drive change
- Develops, delivers and maintains operationally excellent end-to-end mobility and immigration services processes, standard operating procedures, logistics and governance that align with CoE led strategy and policy design, and effectively consults with and communicates that knowledge to clients/ stakeholders/transferees in an articulate and coherent manner to enable business effective decisions
- Understands the business’ talent drivers in order to effectively consult with stakeholders resulting in selection of the most appropriate assignment option; actively seeks to maintain knowledge on current best practices and industry standards related to mobility solutions in order to recommend and influence change, and ensures continuous improvement of process, technology and vendor capability to manage costs and improve efficiency & employee experience
- Objectively analyzes and evaluates situations and brings multiple parties with diverse views, including hiring managers, HRBPs, CoEs and relocating assignees, to consensus; resolves matters/queries from employees and their managers related to their transfer while maintaining open lines of communication
- Partners with vendors and leverages systems and tools to mine, report and complete complex analysis from BMS’ mobility and immigration data to deliver meaningful talent and mobility recommendations to the Global Benefits & Mobility CoE, Talent Management and HRBPs
- Partners with the Vendor Management team to ensure effective service from the Global Mobility & Immigration and mobility tax vendor partners, holding them accountable to SLAs and KPIs
- Responsible, with other TR Service Line teams, for end-to-end, integrated process, including data requirements; partner with HR IT and Core HR SL on all integration requirements between different vendor systems
- Ensures compliance regarding complex matters such as tax/immigration, global payroll structure, and overall due diligence, partnering as appropriate with Legal, Payroll, Core HR team and Total Reward Center of Expertise (COE)
- Delivers and enables a high percent of first contact resolution in PS Capability Centers and Turn Around Times in People Services by providing and maintaining all needed Global Talent Mobility & Immigration Services knowledge capital; ensures all global mobility and immigration services training and documentation are consistently up to date and responsible for capability build, ongoing learning/development in the of resources delivering in functional area
- Leads TM&IS projects, as required, for delivery of TM&IS program related strategic initiatives
- Bachelor’s Degree and 6-8 years of combined experience in Human Resources and mobility/ international assignment consulting
- Demonstrates a high level of consultative expertise and customer services skills, using excellent communication skills while demonstrating an enterprise mindset and a strong track record in establishing and driving operational excellence and ensuring appropriate steps to effect change
- Acts with a sense of urgency and drive issues through to completion coupled with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage /prioritize multiple activities
- Experience building and maintaining successful relationships with key stakeholders and leaders across a functional area to ensure HR Services objectives are supported and successfully delivered
- Strong business acumen, good business judgment and critical thinking skills, capable of exercising independent judgement and discretion utilizing company policies and principles yet knowing when to escalate
- Uncompromising commitment to client and customer satisfaction, highly motivated and detail oriented in order to achieve and improve service performance and effective leadership skills to enhance teamwork and promote collaboration
- Proven operational process and project management, and vendor management skills and the ability to present complex information in a clear and convincing way to employees and managers and their HR Business Partners
- Proficiency with Microsoft office suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) is required
Ideal Candidates Would Also Have:
- Industry designation preferred, CRP, GMS, GMS-T
- Experience working with current BMS HR enabling systems: Workday, Assignment Pro, ServiceNow (case management)
