This business partnering role provides financial planning and analysis (FP&A) support for the Information Technology (IT) organization, specifically the IT Leadership Team members who manage Divisional IT projects.  These projects account for 25% of the global IT Budget.  The Senior Manager will partner closely with Corporate Finance, Corporate Accounting, Business Controls, and Divisional Finance teams. This role provides significant development in financial analytics, project analysis, and cross matrix leadership.

  Responsibilities include:

  • Participate as an extended team member of the IT Business Partner leadership teams providing financial updates and strategic guidance. 
  • Perform project analysis including evaluation of ROI, assessing software capitalization impact, and advising on prioritization and budget impact. 
  • Collaborate with divisional finance colleagues across GPS (Manufacturing), Commercial, R&D, and Corporate  Functions to provide transparency to Divisional IT spend and evaluate financial impact of cross divisional projects / spend.
  • Identify business trends, report monthly results, and provide variance analysis.  Prepare annual budget and projections including identifying risks & opportunities to the business while challenging barriers to financial performance.
  • Assist IT leads with identifying and reporting savings related to integration synergies and other savings initiatives.
  • Liaise with BCF on compliance regarding SOX and SOP controls, interpret and provide guidance on practical application to the operational leads.
  • Provide performance metrics and ad hoc analysis as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting (CPA and/or MBA in finance preferred).
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in finance, accounting, auditing, business analysis or operations roles.
  • Strong accounting, financial, and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated business partnering skills and strong collaboration experience (inside and outside of finance).
  • High level of oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge or greater of BMS financial systems, including SAP and Hyperion
  • Experienced in building solutions in a cross functional environment.
  • The successful candidate will be a self-starter, highly motivated and able to make decisions independently.
  • Experience working with multiple levels of management in a matrix organization with competing demands on time and resources.
  • Understanding and having an interest in Information Technology environments and technology trends preferred.
