Amazon Web Services is looking for a Content Marketing Programme Manager that develops, implements and maintains
the EMEA marketing content & localisation strategy and functional operational model.
As Content programme manager you will work backwards from AWS customers and lead the definition of framework based on persona research across EMEA. Based on your customer insights you will innovate on new content formats (blogs, podcasts, new digital formats) as well as execute on known vehicles such as whitepapers, webinars and web content. You will build an internal network of experts that will act as the content providers for your deliverables. Working alongside these audience and customer type subject matter experts, you will own the content creation engine and agency portfolio. You will be responsible for setting up mechanisms for ongoing testing and optimisation of all content will ensure that we stay laser-focused on our customers’ needs and talk to them in their language. You will identify and work with localisation experts to ensure all necessary content follows a strategic localisation plan and is maintained as necessary.
Responsibilities:
Content Strategy:
· in close collaboration with the PR & brand perception teams, developing a core narrative of content pillars addressing why customers choose AWS
· Identifying and building customer persona research to develop messaging frameworks for major customer segments (Enterprise, SMB & Startup) and personas (Developer, IT Decision Makers, Business Decision Makers)
· Liaising with product marketing teams to create variations on core content pillars specific to strategic product categories
· Liaising with other functional teams (industry marketing, executive insights etc) to collaboratively build relevant variations of core messaging elements specific to functional needs
· Work with field marketing teams to understand GEO specific variations to core messaging
Content Operations
· Identify, build and maintain working relationships with content & localisation agencies to support the EMEA Marketing content execution
· Working with localisation agency to ensure content meets local market needs and resonates across regions
· Build & maintain content repositories to streamline and speed marketers ability to execute
· Build & maintain working model between content owners and agency support (copy writing or localisation)
Content Analytics
· Build and monitor content test framework across different output formats (web, blogs, whitepapers, podcasts etc)
· Design and implement ongoing test and learn flywheel for content relevance
· Track, own & report on content engagement metrics for per audience segment
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· Demonstrated professional experience in driving messaging and communications strategy in a B2B technology environment
· Proven experience owning & driving projects, working with cross functional matrix teams across PR, Brand,Evangelists, Customer References and Functional Marketing teams for large organisations
· Proven experience of creating Marketing programs and campaign strategy and delivering through agency or vendors
· Outstanding writing and communication skills
· Ability to manage time and multiple priorities to execute high quality deliverables
· Degree in Marketing, PR, Communications, Linguistics, Journalism or equivalent professional experience
· Creative agency, digital advertising, journalistic or communications background
· Experience in marketing B2B technology products or services
