Ingredion is hiring for a Sr. Financial Analyst based out of the Westchester Corporate HQ! The Sr. Financial Analyst is responsible for financial forecasting and reporting for the Sweetener Solutions (“SwS”) business. This person will provide insightful financial analysis for monthly and quarterly review meetings with senior business leaders as well as collaborate across functions to identify opportunities to improve processes and support

ad hoc requests and special projects as necessary.

Core Responsibilites:

• Partner with the Commercial and Supply Chain teams to develop topline volume forecasts for the SwS business which incorporate new product offerings, customer order trends, customer product sales, share of customer requirements, macro trends impacting customer’s products, and unique sales history. Prepare variance analyses for leadership team.

• Drive financial analyses and presentations for the monthly executive meetings and quarterly business review meetings. Assist leadership team with ad hoc requests in support of strategic and operational planning initiatives. Support efforts to drive visibility to customer level profitability and increase Commercial Finance modeling capabilities.

• Collaborate with Operations Finance and Pricing COE team members to drive insight into SwS demand plan to drive greater understanding of the business and provide insights into specific customer trends.

• Build and maintain effective relationships within the SwS GTM organization in order to facilitate effective communication of business needs.

• Identifies opportunities for process improvements and constructively proposes new solutions that increase value and improve business performance. 

• Ability to deal effectively with dynamic change and support team along those lines.

• Proactively engages the right resources from across the organization to understand and explain financial results to SwS sales leadership

• Builds sustainable internal and external relationships that deliver value for the business through a commitment to drive a positive customer experience

Qualification Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required

• Experienced at developing trend analysis, growth plans based upon unique drivers, and scenario development

• Strong knowledge and demonstrated experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; SAP Business Warehouse preferred

• Demonstrated success working with internal customers to build rapport and effective relationships; prefer demonstrated ability influencing senior non-Finance managers and executives

• Demonstrated ability to analyze financial results and apply variance analysis effectively to explain volume, price and mix drivers

• Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills

• Analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

• Experience in planning, coordinating, and executing multiple projects simultaneously
