Job Description
Overview
The Senior Finance Analyst is responsible for preparing, analyzing, and reconciling financial budgets and reports. This role will also develop and deploy the SAP Business Intelligence tool throughout the company.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop budgets in support of labor, overhead, capital, headcount, sales, and inter-company transactions
- Monitor actual versus budget variances on a monthly basis, and analyze trends
- Create ad hoc reports and analyze data to work toward an understanding and resolution of complex situational problems
- Analyze, reconcile, and prepare elements of balance sheets, profit, and loss statements, and other formal financial reports on a scheduled basis
- Perform FI/COPA/BI data validation and discrepancy resolution
- Facilitate training classes regarding current and new functionalities
- Assist team with non-complex technical issue resolutions; forward complex issues to appropriate subject matter experts for resolution
- Manage contents of the Business Intelligence (BI) Expense Cube
- Administer and Track BI BEx and BI HANA SAP role/job-based security of field personnel
- Perform COPA and Business Intelligence testing for SAP ECC upgrades
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Additional Primary Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor s Degree and three years of experience or equivalent education and related experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organization, multi-tasking and time management skills
- Experience in accounting systems, and principles
- Experience using SAP ECC Systems
Physical Demands
- Physical demands include a considerable amount of time sitting and typing/keyboarding, using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor), or adding machine
- Physical demands with activity or condition may occasionally include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping
- May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs
