Job Summary

Works closely with the Environment, Health, Safety & Security (EHS&S) Leadership Team in promoting an operating culture that integrates EHS&S with daily operations.  This position is also responsible for providing effective project management for key Environment, Health, Safety & Security learning and development initiatives. The position will take a project from original concept through final implementation and will interface with all areas affected by the project including Supply Chain, RQ&I, Engineering, and any other functional areas. This position will also develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans and status reports.

Position Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable Federal, State and local environmental regulations and ConAgra corporate environmental policies.
  • Perform all activities associated with storm water compliance and air permit and regulation compliance.
  • Lead sustainable development activities at the facilities, including reduction in utility, energy and material consumption and corporate citizenship efforts.
  • Implement ConAgra Foods EHS Management System.
  • Develop and implement training to ensure education of all plant team members on appropriate environmental and safety issues.
  • Interface with key internal and external stakeholders and subject matter experts in the design, development and implementation of programs and processes
  • Manage core team resources and coordinates project planning and execution to insure timely project implementation
  • Assist in the development and implementation of environmental & safety programs
  • Coordinate EHS&S assessment program to include scheduling of assessments, distribution of reports and tracking of assessment findings to completion
  • Responsible for developing and implementing environmental & safety training content for the Plant through the LMS
  • Develop and publish key metrics and reports (weekly, monthly, annual).

Position Qualifications

  • 4 year college degree required ( EHS&S or related field)
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in organizing, planning, and executing projects along with managing applications
  • Strong command of both written and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop and deliver presentations for senior management and external clients.
  • Strong communication and management skills.
  • High degree of organizational skills.
  • Strong computer skills – Microsoft Office.
