Job Description
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing and coordinating the execution of the annual high-voltage preventative maintenance program.
- Monitoring key performance variables in the electrical distribution system and coordinating tactical countermeasures to address risks to system reliability and safety.
- Developing and executing against strategic capital plans, ensuring delivery of scope within cost and timeline expectations.
- Providing expert troubleshooting support related to electrical and power distribution systems.
- Maintaining technical documentation for power distribution system, including design data, process models, and historical performance data.
- Driving electrical system reliability and continuous improvement through participation in Failure Modes & Effects Analysis (FMEA), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and the Preventative Maintenance Optimization (PMO) cycle; defining maintenance strategies and audits for quality execution
- Partnering with site electrical maintenance contractors to establish and maintain a high standard of trade skill and execution capability to support plant needs.
- Providing electrical design development, evaluation, and implementation support for project engineers and unit maintenance teams.
- Managing Arc Flash Safety program and electrical/instrumentation PM documentation.
- Ensuring application of best-in-class technologies and techniques in control of electrical systems.

Qualified candidates will have:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering
- 7-10 years of experience in industrial power distribution
- the ability to apply analytical problem-solving techniques to identify and resolve root causes
- the ability to distill complex technical information to speak to a broad group of stakeholders and facilitate a clear understanding of risk
- Knowledge of applicable codes and standards including: OSHA, ANSI, IEEE, NEC, NFPA, and NEMA.
- a proven track record of delivery against project objectives
- PMP and/or CMRP a plus
- Knowledge of steam turbine generator a plus
