Responsibilities

•Responsible for the strategic planning of digital capabilities for Manati, Humacao and Phoenix Drug Product Commercial Mfg.   The strategic planning will have a primary focus on capabilities in support of automation (control systems), information technology, site infrastructure and computer system validation used in manufacturing and laboratories operations.

•Responsible for Puerto Rico shared services on the island which include business continuity, digital resiliency and computer systems validation.

•Responsible for global alignment of computer systems validations (project Vision) requirements across all sites.

•Responsible to integrate or divest digital capabilities as needed to drive the long-term business strategy.

•Responsible for the leadership and development talent across in scope sites.

•Responsible for the development of long-term (12-24 month) roadmaps identifying digital capabilities that have the greatest impact on business capabilities for the site.

•Responsible to strategically adapt digital capabilities required to prosecute the BMS biologics pipeline with agility and urgency.

•Responsible 24x7 operational support across all sites.

•Responsible for developing strategic and collaborative partnerships with the site leadership teams.  Ability to become the trusted partner and advisor to all stakeholders in both sites demonstrating deep domain knowledge of shop floor operations.

•Responsible for the communication, implementation and operation of a Bio Sterile Mfg Digital Capability Governance process.

•Demonstrate matrix leadership of IT resources in other IT functions: responsible for ensuring that all IT functions are successful in their delivery of services to in scope sites.  Key matrix IT partner functions include internal and strategic external partners.

Requirements

•15+ years experience + Master’s Degree preferred

•Demonstrated ability to lead the strategic planning and implementation of digital capabilities in a multi-faceted manufacturing site operation.

•Demonstrated ability to communicate, influence and partner with senior business leaders.

•Strong knowledge of current good manufacturing/lab processes (GxP), particularly as relates to IT (21 CFR Part 11, Data Integrity, FDA Metrics, etc).

•Demonstrated experience implementing large scale digital capabilities related to commercial manufacturing operations including process automation, manufacturing execution and lab systems.

•Working knowledge of S88 and S95 standards in relation to process automation and manufacturing execution
