The purpose of this role is:
To lead and drive Mars Wrigley media & digital brand experience transformation by unlocking media, social, search & owned site systems as growth levers, and leveraging all available 1, 2 & 3P data sources to maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of our consumer touchpoints.
In that context, transcend functional silos to partner with Brand and Content teams, Data and Analytics (Human Intelligence, Data Technologies) and Sales (Digital Commerce, Customer/Shopper Marketing) to create a consumer-first organizational model that delivers a seamless brand experience throughout the consumer journey
Build and lead the development of media and digital capabilities and talent globally for MW, internally and through our agency partners
What are we looking for?
Business degree qualified
15+ years experience in relevant media/digital or Integrated Communications leadership roles in house or agency
Strong understanding of integrated communications
Track record of transforming organization capabilities in space of media and digital
Strong data literacy and experience in data-driven marketing
Excellent communication and presentation skills (oral and written)
Ability to create strong relationships across internal departments and external partners
Strong media & digital technical skills
What will be your key responsibilities?
Overall, this role has responsibility and accountability for creating and leading the long-term transformation ambition of MW media and digital experiences. It will be tasked with C-suite stakeholder management of the measurement and delivery of the transformation; and senior leadership collaboration across Marketing, Data & Analytics, Digital Technologies, and Sales to ensure the global media and digital experiences strategy aligns with long-term business priorities.
Measurement and delivery of the global media transformation to C-suite stakeholders
Collaborate with senior leaders across all Demand-driving functions to orchestrate ways of working between media, base marketing/brand and content, customer/shopper marketing, and dcomm/sales that deliver a seamless brand experience throughout the consumer journey
Partner with Global VP Data & Advanced Analytics to establish data strategy and usage for media and digital experiences; set goals and KPIs to monitor performance across media, search, social, and digital properties
Media and digital experiences leadership in the Enterprise Brand Council
Oversee the management of all digital properties and infrastructure, and own the core site system development roadmap in collaboration with Digital Technologies
Define, embed and cascade a globally relevant Social and SEO strategy, through specialist partnership
Oversee the expansion and integration of regional media hubs to partner with Brand & Content hubs and Regional Marketing teams
Lead the MW Media & Digital community globally to drive increased effectiveness and innovation through regional leadership, identifying/building media and digital capabilities globally & regionally
