Data and Analytics is a key new competency and capability we are developing to do this. The Senior Data Sceintist is foundational to Digital Technologies and we see a huge amount of future value generated by driving competitive advantage from data through analytics and data science
Lead US Data and Analytics Strategy, budget, plans and delivery within Connected Solutions team
Engage and guide key division stakeholders in the US and deliver data, insights, tools to help them make smarter decisions and create new value in their businesses
Identify the right external data to help us deliver this ambition
Recruit and develop a team to drive value from data across Petcare
Connect and collaborate with internal stakeholders (sponsors, analysts, technology partners)
Develop commercial propositions and monetization from the data
Manage a team of Data Engineers and Data Scientists and be responsible for their overall career development
Degree level in scientific, mathematical subject; post-graduate/MS qualifications in statistics, computer science, or data science preferred.
3-5 years professional experience in data science work; CPG experience preferred.
Solution Development: To work with the existing team around building Solution capability and expertise around different areas of analytics.
Delivery: Use analytics expertise to understand project needs and work hands-on the development of Scorecards/ Models, analysis etc.
Implementation: Manage the process of implementation/deployment of score/model/analysis built. Monitor performance of machine learning models as and when required.
