In this role, you will manage a set of customer categories within the Alexa business, and be responsible for defining and executing the business strategy across domains. In many cases, you may be establishing a new relationship between Amazon and the customer, which require strong sales and self-initiating skills, and the ability to engage C-level executives. Within this role, you will be expected to develop sales strategy, go to market plans and scale solutions and services. You will work closely with product and engineering teams to determine how to meet the needs of envisioned customer experiences. As an enterprise business within Amazon, the role will require a high technical acumen and the ability to execute multi-year strategy to prioritize target verticals and segmentation working across multi-function teams.
A day in the life
It's Monday. You kick off your day with an informal team sync to see how everyone's weekend was, your colleague in Germany tried out a new BBQ recipe and shares it with the team. You have a productive week ahead of you, meeting with several potential partners based in both UK and Germany (at various stages of the pipeline), and a couple internal stakeholders meetings to ensure your product feedback has been considered for the upcoming market launch. Meanwhile, you've been drafting a "go big" plan you aim to review with your manager on Thursday about scaling the learnings to new geographies. While writing has never been a strong suit, it's important at Amazon and you know you have the support and tools you need to improve. You have multiple ideas of how to quickly get partners onboard, but ruthlessly prioritize in order to achieve your end of year goal of on-boarding 10 new businesses to the service.

Job responsibilities
· Develop a scalable strategy to expand Alexa fleet managed services into key categories.
· Build and cultivate key relationships with marquis properties including but not limited to hotels, vacation rentals, workplaces, senior living facilities, apartments, hospitals and drive direct monetization by selling enterprise software as a service (Saas) or licensing Alexa software while driving profitable growth.
· Work across Amazon to define and execute go to market plans for Alexa, including retail, product, legal and supply chain teams.
· Be the voice of Alexa business with developers and other relevant channel stakeholders.
· Deliver persuasive, passionate, high impact, quality presentations to senior decision makers.
· Advocate internally for developer features and functionality that will help facilitate a world class Alexa-enabled customer experience.
· Create actionable steps to achieve big, ambiguous ideas.

· Extensive years of sales and digital business development experience
· Experience running an enterprise product through channel strategy
· Experience running an emerging technologies business
· Proven ability to prospect, recruit, and manage executive level relationships
· Strong presentation, sales, and negotiation skills; ability to close high value and high profile deals
· Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences at the C level
· Strong ownership and bias for action; ability to internalize goals and work independently to create appropriate action plans for those goals
· Fluent in English and at least one of the following - German/French/Italian
· Experience working with emerging technologies, especially speech/voice
· Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, innovative, and rapidly evolving industry and business organization
· Comfort working with a broad range of technology tools including SharePoint, Excel, Word, and Salesforce.com
· Mobile, digital content, and apps domain experience a plus
· Exceptional interpersonal and relationship management skills
· Demonstrated effectiveness working across multiple business units to achieve results
· Strong analytical orientation; comfort using databases and analytical tools and making data-based decisions
· Strong problem-solving skills; ability to analyze issues and create appropriate tactical plans
· Meticulous attention to detail: ability to juggle many tasks in parallel without lowering your quality bar
· Demonstrated ability to champion and drive cross-functionally improvement initiatives
