Work you’ll do 

The selected candidate will serve as a Senior Developer for on an Operations and Maintenance (O&M) workstream which involves providing support for clients  existing systems as well as implementing enhancements to those existing systems.

The Systems Engineering offering is comprised of experienced professionals who help guide clients through their most complex technology challenges. This can include the delivery of large scale software applications & integrated systems, the development of service-oriented architecture (SOA) and other integrations solutions, and the delivery of technology enablement to support CIO services transformation. Our Systems Engineering offering focuses on key client issues that impact the core business, provide operational value, drive down the cost of quality, and enhance technology innovation.

Qualifications 

Required:  

 Required Skills: 

•10+ years of working experience with a variety of front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery

•5+ years of working development experience with ASP.NET Webforms and WCF

•6+ years of working development experience with ASP.NET Core MVC, API

•4+ years of working experience with SQL and one or more of the RDBMS: Oracle or SQL Server 

•3+ years of working experience preparing and executing deployment scripts

•3+ years of experience practicing standard software development lifecycle leveraging agile methodologies such as SCRUM 

•3+ years of experience with a source control platform e.g. Bitbucket, TFS

•Strong working experience troubleshooting applications built on .NET with a deeply curious mindset

Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and JavaScript object model

•2+ years of experience with React.js and its fundamentals, workflows (e.g. Flux), data structure libraries, and other relevant frameworks for Rect.js based front-end development

•Knowledge of the overall browser rendering behavior and optimizing performance is desirable

•Experience reviewing, and analyzing business requirements

•Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

•Experience developing applications in AWS

Desired Skills: 

•Experience providing technical feasibility and estimates of business requirements 

•Experience translating an idea/concept to an implementable solution 

•Working experience with LINQ 

•Working experience with IIS configuration 

•Experience developing custom solutions leveraging SharePoint 2013/2016

•Experience with Atlassian suite of tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence, BitBucket, and Bamboo)

•Experience with AWS full stack development or at least AWS devOps technologies

•Experience with infrastructure as Code, AWS Cloud Formation or Terraform

•Experience with AWS infrastructure services including networking

•AWS DevOps or Developer certification
