Description

As a Sr. Accounting and Controls Specialist, Mumbai City, you would be:

• Directly handling planning, design and completion of documentation for processes, including those that are complex, sensitive and/or high impact
• Partner with employees located around the world to create and update documentation that clearly and effectively addresses the needs of the global teams.
• Able to work and function independently and manage multiple priorities; time management skills
• Organize trainings and provide clarity on process steps to enable teams to successfully implement the resulting process
• Ensure that process documentation remains current and high quality (continuous improvement) by pro-actively identifying reasons why a process might change, such as a change to a system.

Profile

The ideal Sr. Accounting and Controls Specialist should have:

• 5+ years' experience
• English proficiency
• Minimum Graduate qualification, preferably in Accounting/A CA/CMA/CS/ MBA Finance qualification
• Work experience in Procure to Pay process and/or Record to Report process
• Experience in process and procedures design/development, and/or
• Extensive use of process and procedures documentation to execute responsibilities in previous job roles, such that there is an understanding of the purpose and format of process documentation and what is included in effective documentation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook. Visio a plus
• Experience with Finance ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems a plus, specifically Oracle Cloud Financials
• Internal control experience a plus
• Detail-oriented, curious / project management skills (organization, time management), able to work independently, teams well with others, interpersonal skills
• Candidates with international work experience would be preferred.
• Should be a resident of/willing to relocate to Mumbai city.
