Position Responsibilities:
Leverage all available technical resources to proactively identify and implement opportunities for improved efficiency which effectively balance Cast, Guest and Financial objectives. You will identify trends, recommend solutions, influence outcome and validate assumptions with the Line of Business leadership, Industrial Engineering, Scheduling, Casting, Training, Disney University and Finance Teams to navigate change and drive business results including:
Mentor and develop peers and lead one or more hourly Cast Member(s)
Complex forecasting of transactions (e.g., multiple lines of business, multiple properties, differing forecast models/types) using the appropriate business drivers, including monitoring the accuracy of the forecast and adjusting inputs as needed
Gather and analyze metrics from disparate sources, including validation and summary of findings to create an actionable story for clients and partners to guide decision making
Forecasting of various workforce metrics supporting demand and staffing, including transactions, separations and absences
Develop tools and processes to support improved workload/staffing utilization and partner with appropriate teams during development and implementation
Create quantitative and/or qualitative analysis to support business decisions for workforce strategies
Make day-to-day decisions within scope, and have awareness when an issue or decisions should be escalated to leadership for direction or visibility
Development of monthly hiring, training and conversion recommendations for review and negotiation with partners and Executives
Develop Annual Operating Labor, Staffing, and Training Plans
Validation, review, and submission of weekly workloads for Scheduling teams
Lead and adhere to confidentiality training regarding all communication, data, intellectual property, etc.
Perform ad hoc analysis as necessary
Basic Qualifications:
Demonstrated influence and negotiation skills with Operating partners including Executives, Scheduling, Industrial Engineering, Casting, Finance and Training to drive business results
Demonstrated strong technical and analytic skills, creating measurable insights from the data
Proven change agent striving for continuous improvement
Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships with a focus on Guest Service
Effective verbal and written communication at all levels is critical to drive business results
Ability to be flexible with work schedule including weekends and holidays
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with analytic software packages, data visualization tools and statistical programs (e.g., Excel, Tableau, PowerBI, SQL, SAS)

Solid understanding of the principals of workforce management and/or Industrial Engineering
Required Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Information Technology or related analytical or technical field
