Position Overview
Promote not only net performance but also manage projects that drive the correct behaviors within the purchasing organization. The key deliverables are to generate incremental savings opportunities through the creation of new tools, educate the purchasing community on analytics, and accurately report on net performance.
Job Responsibilities
• Manage and maintain global net material performance reporting
• Provide accurate and timely analyses to Performance Analytics Manager (currency exposure, hedging opportunities, etc.,)
• Develop, launch, and support new and current systems, tools, and processes for the purchasing community with Performance Analytics Manager to make data driven decisions
• Provide support to purchasing community through data validation, analysis, and mechanism creation (Verifying suppliers’ price changes against calculated “should be†price per steel mechanism, creating supplier price push files for buyers, etc.)
• Track and provide analysis on our global purchasing capital spend
QUALIFICATIONS
• Must have a strong understanding of Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong communication and presentation skills with experience working with personnel globally
• Preferred experience of 3 – 5 years as an analyst in finance or buying related position
• Preferred experience in finance, purchasing, supplier development, and/or quality
• Willing to travel up to 10% internationally to company facilities
