We are looking for a dynamic, customer-obsessed, and innovative Senior Product Manager-Tech to join our Amazon Private Brands team. This Sr. PM-T will own designing and building industry-leading supply chain capabilities, and will work with worldwide cross-functional stakeholders to build ground-up solutions that scale across Amazon Private Brands.

As a Senior Product Manager – Technical, you will partner with Private Brands Central team to invent, define, and deliver a technical solution which will increase visibility into the components and raw materials that make up our products. In order to be successful you should be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. This means you are not only able to develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives, but can also roll up your sleeves, dig in and get the job done. You will think globally, anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints. An ability to take large, complex projects and break them down into manageable pieces, develop functional specifications, then deliver them in a successful and timely manner is expected. Maturity, high judgment, negotiation skills, ability to influence, analytical talent and leadership are essential to success in this role.

This is a unique role that offers a great opportunity to build something new, work across strategic businesses, and interact with global stakeholders. This will be no easy feat as this requires alternating between big picture thinking and obsessing with the details, identifying risks, and being a true product owner.

Key responsibilities:
· You will build an initial product vision, define a tangible and achievable pilot plan, including articulating how this pilot will scale across Amazon Private Brands.
· You will drive alignment among both business and technical stakeholders.
· You will define a multi-year product roadmap and detailed product requirements required to achieve your vision.
· You will work cross-functionally with Tech, Sourcing, Inventory & Planning, Product Development, Sustainability, Social Responsibility, Compliance, and Program Management teams across Amazon Private Brands to deliver on the product roadmap.
· You will partner with Amazon Private Brands’ business leads to standardize existing Amazon Private Brands processes, applying a forward-looking tech lens.
· You will create mechanisms for continuously monitoring success against the outcomes that matter most to our customers.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor’s Degree
· Exceptional written and verbal skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior stakeholders
· High attention to detail including precise and effective communication and documentation skills
· Proven experience overseeing product roadmap strategy and definition
· Extensive experience in product or program management, supply chain/sourcing, technology and/or consulting

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field; MBA
· Experience with end to end product delivery, including overseeing roadmap strategy and definition, feature delivery and tradeoffs, overseeing testing and driving adoption
· Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
· Experience with business process design
· Experience in delivering Amazon-scale systems
· Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions and recommendations and to drive actions
· Proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
· Experience working in international markets and managing global stakeholders
