Job Description:

This position is responsible for assisting the marketing manager in coordinating and executing marketing strategy within the location.

Job Responsibilities:

• Functions as a member of the location(s) marketing team, focusing primarily on utilization of marketing tools (i.e. Salesforce, Exact Target, Social Media and Adobe Creative Suite).

• Works with Marketing Manager on location website updates, social media platform management, and email strategy and execution.

• Designs signage for various sales and clients using Adobe Creative Suite.

• Owns assigned marketing activities including offers, signage, social media, and email and client call campaigns in support of local and national initiatives.

• Understands strategic marketing plans for key accounts and implement plans as needed. Assists in submitting COOP requests at the end of the promotional period.

• Learns and works within analytical reporting tools in order to understand and convey auction performance and return on marketing investment.

• Works in auction lanes on sale days to execute marketing offer(s) for commercial and dealer accounts.

• Ensures projects and day-to-day tasks are delivered on time, within budget and are in alignment with auction and regional goals and priorities.

• Provides exceptional customer service for internal and external clients.

• Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

 â€¢ High School diploma required. Bachelor’s degree preferred in marketing, communications, or advertising.

• 5 of marketing and/or promotions experience required.

• Previous experience in the auto industry helpful, but not required.

• Excellent communication (written and verbal), organizational and interpersonal skills required.

• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office and fundamental graphic arts knowledge is essential.

• Understanding of marketing tools available on social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter).

• Salesforce.com knowledge helpful, but not required.

• Professional demeanor with: o Ability to work in a high performance, fast-paced team environment.

Ability to work under pressure with time constraints.

Ability to work effectively in a constantly changing work environment.

Ability to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time.

Ability to perform repetitive tasks; manual dexterity.

Vision abilities required include close, distance, color, and depth perception.
