QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum
7 or more years of experience required in related field (i.e. Information Technology, Engineering, etc.)
5 or more years of experience required if candidate possesses a related advanced degree
Strong knowledge of enterprise business applications, ITIL processes, networking, and network operations.
Excellent interpersonal, leadership, analytical problem solving, listening, written, and verbal communication and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout the organization.
Preferred
BS/BA degree in related discipline strongly desired (i.e. Information Technology, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Project Management, etc.).
2 or more years of experience in a management role preferred
Experience in telecommunications industry desired
Prior experience working for a service provider

• Strong knowledge of telecommunications, Ethernet, Sonet, optical networks, DWDM, network design, test & turn up of services (these can be altered for specific technology area)
• Excellent list soft skills such as interpersonal, leadership, presentation, and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout the organization
• Prior experience creating scopes of work (SOW), reviewing MOPs, managing contractors
Preferred
• BS/BA degree in related discipline strongly desired (computer science, engineering)
• 2+ years experience in a management role preferred
• Experience in telecommunications industry desired
• Prior experience working for a service provider
