The Purpose of Your Role
Work with a collaborative, passionate and highly engaged team to lead the strategy and execution of relevant and timely communications to customers via email, direct mail and other direct communication channels. Deepen relationships with millions of our customers by developing strategies to support single channel and cross channel marketing and service campaigns. Use customer insights, testing and learning to enhance our communications and deliver a more robust experience that drives business results and enables a seamless customer experience.
The Expertise We’re Looking For
BA/BS degree is required
7+ years experience in one or more of the following areas: marketing, project management, and/or account management
Experience working in a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment with multiple priorities, ability to meet deadlines and manage risks
Experience leading email and direct mail campaigns including being a champion of best practices, defining the targeting and test plan strategy, coordinating execution partners and using engagement and business metrics to determine effectiveness of communications and make go forward recommendations
Process and detail-oriented thinker who provides clear direction and maintains clear communication with others about the work and results
Your ability to see the “storyline†in data and use data to inform planning and evangelize A/B and multivariate testing
Your experience to advance trigger and programmatic direct marketing capabilities based on customer needs, actions, propensities, behaviors, attitudes, etc.
Demonstrated ability to self-learn and self-direct
Passion for being customer obsessed
Comfortable working with marketing technology and working with marketing technologists to build and launch new capabilities and to test and deploy communications
Excellent PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Word and SharePoint skills required. Prior experience with JIRA and SalesForce Marketing Cloud a plus.
The Team
As part of the Personal Investing (PI) Marketing organization and a member of the Marketing Channels 1-1 Team you will be responsible for the strategy and execution of marketing and service email and direct mail campaigns to deepen customer relationships. This team works with many different teams throughout the organization, including but not limited to: product owners, segment marketers, account/creative agency, technology, measurement and analytics, and channel marketers.
