Job Summary:
Disney’s Corporate Alliances develops and holistically manages complex, long-Ââ€term, multi-†dimensional relationships with select brands and companies. The Corporate Alliances team is dedicated to creating incremental value to The Walt Disney Company and its partners through creative development of marketing and sponsorship programs, management of partner and business unit relationships and creation of new partnerships aligned with The Walt Disney Company’s businesses and strategic goals.
Within the Corporate Alliances organization, the Parks Account Management team is responsible for directing the growth and development of a broad portfolio of alliance partners, whose primary relationship is with the P&R segment.
Responsibilities:
The Sr. Manager, Alliance Management role requires an individual who is comfortable with a large portfolio and possesses strong communication and collaboration skills. This Sr. Manager consults, analyzes, negotiates and forms deep relationships with third-Ââ€party alliances to deliver on contractual terms and identify select opportunities for growth that will provide material value to TWDC over the long-Ââ€term. The role requires an individual who can effectively navigate and influence key senior decision makers and articulate short-†and long-Ââ€term recommendations to drive value to TWDC and its partners.
Maintains a deep knowledge and understanding of contractual and obligations for a portfolio of alliance partners
Oversees direct report(s) to ensure compliance with the agreements, prioritization of accounts within the managed portfolio, and timely resolution of issues for both the Alliance partners and the stakeholder Bus
Collaborates with and influence internal Disney stakeholders across multiple BUs (if applicable) to deliver on alliance partners’ business objectives
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of site-Ââ€specific Disney Parks & Resorts strategies, marketing initiatives, current issues, and scope of current/future operations by forging strong relationships with cross-Ââ€functional WDW/DLR LOBs
Drive alliance contract renewals, extensions and amendments by ensuring appropriate due diligence, overseeing proposal development and analysis of deal terms, and determining negotiation tactics
Partner with the director to develop an annual portfolio strategy that identifies the maximum long-Ââ€term growth for the portfolio
Oversees development and distribution of quarterly key portfolio dashboards and monthly Salesforce updates by account
Build and motivate a high performing team, including performance evaluations, pay reviews, training needs, and typical hire/fire decisions.
Partner, as needed, with the Corporate Alliances Business Development teams in the investigation, negotiations and contract development for those potential accounts with a P&R focus
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of marketing, promotions, sponsorship experience
Proven experience in marketing/promotions development and relationship management
Proven experience in developing consumer and/or trade marketing strategy, execution, and financial analysis
Deep knowledge/experience with WDW or DLR operations, strategy, marketing
Ability to communicate in a persuasive and collaborative style with cast members and Partners at all levels
Ability to thrive in a fast-Ââ€paced, matrixed environment
Proven ability to identify key business issues and clearly articulate opportunities for both the partner and TWDC
Ability to make timely and data-informed decisions
Experience working with creative teams to ensure the creative execution delivers on identified business objectives
Proven ability to function successfully within a team environment and to build consensus within Corporate Alliances, Business Units, and alliance partners
Demonstrated strong verbal, written and presentation skills
Demonstrated strong abilities in prioritization and multi-Ââ€tasking
Demonstrated strong computer skills with advanced knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Keynote
Familiarity with The Walt Disney Company’s brand, products/services, and guest experience
Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time
Preferred Qualifications:
Deep familiarity with Disney Parks Operations and Marketing

Required Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or a closely related field
Preferred Education
MBA or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business or related discipline preferred
This role is considered hybrid, which means the employee will work a portion of their time on-site from a Company designated location and the remainder of their time remotely.
