Basis administration role is accountable for ensuring SAP applications (both on premise and cloud based) are installed and functioning as per requirements. Responsibilities includes installing and configuring technical components. Basis collaborates with Functional, Middleware, Development, and Security teams to ensure secure and stable Performance monitoring, system upgrades, code migration, and integrations are included in the services provided.

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

•Environment design, capacity forecast, and implementation of Infrastructure/Storage/Database components

•Software configuration, implementation

•Performance monitoring and tuning

•High Availability and Disaster Recovery Services

•Maintain backup and recovery strategies and processes

•Print Management

•Environment and Transport Management

•Level 4 Troubleshooting

•Hana Database administration

•Maintain and Adhering to Information Technology and SOX controls and processes

Basic Qualifications

•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent job-related work experience

•6 plus years Basis admin experience

•Broad knowledge in Linux and shell scripting

•Strong Command of SQL and SAP Basis Admin Tools (Hana Cockpit, Hana Studio, Solution Manager, Landscape Management (LaMa), etc.)
