Job Description
Role purpose:
To provide support and deliver insightful management information to the VBPS teams through Financial Planning, discipline and control thus contributing to the delivery of business objectives.
The direct scope will include but not limited to :
- Provide standard finance support for the VBPS organisation covering monthly reporting, forecast and budgets.
- Collaborate and co-create with VBPS Teams and Vodafone Business LoBs and other support functions to deliver on the overall objectives of GT and Vodafone Business including POM.
- Member of the VBPS sub-exco teams providing support and guidance
- Coordinate and liaise with Finance Business Partners across the VBTS functions in markets.
- Define, track and report efficiencies savings on various initiatives across the VBPS Group ,
- Shape, influence, review & approval of new business cases including management of financial governance of business case approval
- Share best practice and learning across the areas to drive cost reduction to meet opex targets
- Build strong and influential relationships with Group VBPS and Vodafone Business key stakeholders, VoIS Finance, Group Technology Finance team, Local Market VBPS/VBTS teams
- Lead, grow and retain Finance talent
- Direct management of 5 Finance Analysts (FDS)
With us you will:
- Drive the planning and budgeting process as well as monthly reviews for the various VBPS departments
- Track performance against targets and recommend course of action on deviations.
- Review and approval of new business cases
- Collaborate and Co-create with Finance , Technology and Vodafone Business teams to ensure alignment of objectives
- Ensure delivery of financial saving targets, working closely with VPC
- Ensure processes are in place to identify and embed efficiency plans across all sub departments
- Build a high performing VBPS Finance team
- Ensure financial governance processes are followed across the business
- Support adhoc requests for reporting to VBPS EXCO, GT EXCO / VF EXCO reporting

Must have technical / professional qualifications:
- Appropriate Finance (CIMA, ACA or equivalent) / technical qualification with advanced Finance experience in large multi- national organisations.
- Strong technology understanding as well as matrix organisation model.
- Strong Excel / PPT Skills
