The Role

We are seeking an expert Principal Software Engineer with a strong database background, and passion for understanding and improving on our data to deliver outstanding customer experiences. You will be working in a collaborative team environment where you will have a wealth of opportunities to develop, innovate and advocate how our software and data is best used and improve our delivery.

You will be working on a fast-paced team passionate about designing, implementing, and maintaining a wide variety of processes, platforms, and products.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• Excellent collaboration skills to work with multiple teams in the organization bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technology related field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, etc.) required.
• Experience with ELT and ETL.
• Extensive experience with SQL required, with knowledge of MySQL, and SQLMI
• Experience with Azure and Azure Functions
• A passion to design and implement single and multi-tenant data solutions.
• Experience with cloud database technologies such as Snowflake or Azure SQL Database.
• Experience with Python or other scripting languages.
• Experience with APIs
• Proven experience building scalable and robust data solutions for websites using a range of technologies
• Proven experience building, maintaining, and tuning stored procedures.
• Strong data analysis skills
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and work in fast paced environment
• Superb communication skills, both through written and verbal channels
