Job Summary:

As part of the Disney Media & Entertainment Distribution (DMED) Reporting, Analytics, & Data Solutions team, this Senior Compensation Analyst will be responsible for providing a broad range of support across all functions of DMED HR, but will focus on Compensation. This role is routinely required to partner with functional experts, line of business stakeholders, and technical teams across the enterprise to ensure the effective delivery of solutions.

The Analyst must analyze and define complex functions and user needs to ensure client needs are met. The results of their work impact the employee experience, leader experience, and mitigates risk for the company. Analyst must assess and evaluate requests/business needs using HR subject matter expertise, technical knowledge, policy/compliance knowledge, and weigh this against various impacts and dependencies for the purpose of providing recommendations and solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Quarterly LTI Submission program - manage the process by effectively partnering with the DMED Compensation teams and Executive Compensation; ownership of DMED’s LTI data lifecycle from request to quarterly submission
  • Conduct ad hoc Compensation analyses, modeling, & projects as needed
  • Retention bonus program tracking, analysis, & reporting
  • Providing data, reporting, & analysis support to the Annual Compensation Planning cycle, including quarterly Funding File reviews, & other compensation management activities
  • Perform regular data audits to ensure and improve accuracy & data integrity in the system of record
  • Assist with data and reporting requests across DMED HR

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience required in Data, Compensation or related experience
  • Working knowledge of compensation program concepts and practices
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a commitment to accuracy
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ownership of tasks and deliverables
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated strong organizational skills and time management skills
  • Possess a natural curiosity to understand the business
  • Demonstrated bias toward action, with a focus on getting things done and making things happen
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information
  • Strong written, verbal, and graphic communication skills
  • Ability to balance and respond to competing priorities
  • Strong user of Microsoft Office 365 suite, with proficiency in Excel, Access, and Office 365 automation. Familiarity with SAP and Workday a plus
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • A robust knowledge of compensation program concepts and practices
  • Strong sense of teamwork, conflict resolution skills and relationship builder
  • Proven advanced experience with one or more of the following: SAP Compensation, ELE, ORG; business data intelligence tools
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office Power Suite (PowerBI, PowerAutomate, PowerQuery, etc.)
  • Experience with large relational data set management
  • 3-5 years related HR experience
