JOB SUMMARY
Provides pre-award and post award contracting support to the organization. Acts as point contact person to manage the Ariba ECLM system, non-disclosure agreement and other standard agreement processes. Necessitates an understanding of contracting methods and contract types used in performing pre-award, post award functions and works closely with business owners to track and maintain and manage enterprise wide agreements. Proactively assists in special projects as needed.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES
- Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
- Manages the contract lifecycle process.
- Knowledge of contract management of various types of contracts including new contracts, change orders, addendums, amendments, supplements, renewals and terminations.
- Achieve timely execution of contracts in accordance to commitments and obligations to meet customer expectations and timelines.
- Coordinate with management to ensure current contract commitments are managed while focusing on timely delivery.
- Maintain corporate repository of contracts, through the use of a database for tracking, electronic and hard-copy storage of executed contracts.
- Work with internal departments to problem solve, implement changes, communicate compliance with contractual and settlement commitments.
- Crafting and proofreading of executive summaries and other documents for executive review.
- Corresponding and maintaining relationships with internal clients and vendors.
- Acts as a point of contact for contracts and contract related services.
- Acts as a resource for company processes, policy interpretation and company procedures.
- Develops, maintains and distributes required reports to Business Development leadership as well as other departments/stakeholders within the company.
- Acts as primary point person for non-disclosure agreements, facilitating efficient execution, negotiating basic terms and seeking legal guidance in advanced NDA matters.
- Supports internal stakeholders in matters of vendor setup, invoice processing and budget coordination.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Outstanding knowledge of grammar and ability to apply to deliverables
- Ability to interpret and understand common technical journals, financial reports, regulatory orders, and legal documents
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required, e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of business contracts construction, reviewing and drafting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
- Ability to interact proficiently with peers, clients and other professionals
- Ability to listen to multiple points of view and synthesize against goals for recommendations
- Ability to plan, prioritize and organize effectively and independently
- Ability to communicate with all levels of management and company personnel

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in contract management

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
- Possesses an understanding of the Ariba ECLM application or a similar tool, including system functionality. Acts as the contact person and subject matter expert for Ariba ECLM
- Knowledge of contract management software/applications
- Contract drafting, interpretation and negotiation skills
- Working knowledge of legal terms and their application
- Familiarity of the strategic sourcing process
- Experience in the communications industry
- Experience with Legal, Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Product, Engineering and other inter-related departments

The pay for this position has a minimum of $73,100.00. The actual salary offer may be higher as we carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and location. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses.
