Job Summary:

Team Background:

The Receivables Operations team works in a daily basis on the review and analysis of receivable accounts to ensure reasonables and health as well as perform ongoing support on the billing of miscellaneous accounts. Additionally the team partners with the other receivable team to obtain information on the operations, outstanding balances and variations to provide leadership with visibility to the status of receivables.

Position Description:

The position is responsible of performing the review of receivable accounts as well as perform periodic activities for the support of the receivable operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Review the status of receivable accounts
  • Integrate the receivable balance comparison vs. previous years and quarters
  • Process accounting journal entries for accruals and reclassifications
  • Facilitate the collection of information associated to month end activities from the different receivables partners
  • Perform miscellaneous account billings
  • Other accounting activities

Basic Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated organization and prioritization skills
  • Demonstrated strong partnership and customer service skills
  • Demonstrated strong communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate the resolution of conflicts
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver commitments despite time constraints
  • Demonstrated proactive attitude to identify and recommend improvement solutions leveraging technology
  • Demonstrated flexibility to adapt to change and influence team to accept it
  • Pursues excellence with integrity, passion and courage
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively use MS Office to integrate and analyze data and present work status
  • Demonstrated accounting knowledge associated to receivables

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in the hospitality or finance industry
  • Experience in data visualization using Excel, Tableau or other tools
  • SAP experience in the financial modules
  • Experience in month end closing procedures

Required Education

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or closely related field
