The Role

As the Squad Leader, you will blend financial planning domain knowledge, business capability product management expertise and knowledge of data analytics to deliver foundational data platforms and APIs supporting the Fidelity customer planning & advice journey. This role will provide thought leadership in establishing and executing the vision for insights gleaned from customer financial data to help drive deeper planning engagement and improve plan strength. You will further lead the vision for platform modernization effort to adopt AWS capabilities interfacing with cross-functional resources for alignment on the roadmap.

• Using knowledge of our data, you will lead an effort to establish capabilities that will unlock financial insights driving consumer behavior shifts in their finances
• Establish and nurture key partnerships, influencing the broader strategic roadmap across retail and workplace financial planning experiences.
• Developing the business capability strategy across multiple applications and platforms, aligned with the objectives of our business partners.
• Foster a culture of innovation, reuse, scale and efficiency achieved through alignment on the “why”, “what”, and “when” of the work and supported by experimentation, and iterative delivery.

It will further require strong leadership and support for an outstanding team delivering industry leading capabilities to drive business results.

• Bachelor’s degree required with experience in financial planning solutions
• 7+ years of related platform leadership experience and/or product management
• Digital analytics, marketing research, or analytic consulting experience, with examples of using data-driven insights to build a product vision
• A foundational understanding and appetite to learn platform capabilities including knowledge of cloud databases and REST API/services technologies
• A learning and growth demeanor with a drive for delivering quantifiable value to our customers and Fidelity
• Proven experience leading, collaborating, and empowering team members and colleagues and a track record of building highly engaged teams
• As Innovative mentality balanced with thoughtful risk-taking to deliver outcomes – better, faster, cheaper
• Customer-centric approach in solving problems and reducing client friction
• Data analytics background with ability to drive a learning agenda and mentor data analysts
