The Role
As the Financial Wellness Offering Squad Leader, you will formulate, evolve and execute the vision of financial wellness. You will collaborate closely with WI business leaders to drive engagement, adoption and outcomes so participants can become financially well and help articulate the value to our plan sponsors.
This role has a blend of both business, technology and client-facing responsibilities, which can be a fulfilling and challenging role for the right candidate with a flexible and growth mindset. You blend strategic business expertise with a passion for digital experiences and delivering results. In this role, you will refine and evolve the financial wellness offering, using consumer and market insights to inform the strategy. You will articulate how we bring financial help to plan participants, and the overall benefit and value that provides to plan sponsors. Working closely with our key business partners in WI, you collaborate on the ongoing process of driving these capabilities to scale. You will support client-facing teams as they participate in sales finals and rebids. You will lead a team that owns core digital components of NetBenefits, and work closely with WI business partners to continuously learn, experiment and optimize those digital experiences based on participant needs. This team also drives live channel learning capabilities, which is a critical component of how we bring financial help to life for participants.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
10+ years of comparable experience in financial services and / or technology including start-up and go-to-market experience; workplace investing experience preferred
Proven success defining and launching products and services from concept to scale in market using Agile methodology
Experience gathering customer and marketplace trends and translating to product strategy
Strategic marketing or product management experience, and are comfortable working across both marketing and distribution organizations to deliver customer value
Proven ability partnering with senior leaders to develop and execute strategic plans
Experience with UX design sprints, customer journey mapping, and strategic customer research and data analysis
Adept at synthesizing quantitative data and qualitative feedback, using a data-focused approach to understanding customer needs, translating strategic goals into action, and prioritize to improve value delivered
Analytical by nature with the ability to break down complex questions and data into well-structured analyses and communicating this back in simple, concise ways
Strong relationship building and business partnership skills, and can build credibility and trust with diverse stakeholders
Establish and maintain positive relationships as you work collaboratively across Fidelity to deliver business outcomes and seek out the expertise of colleagues to advise on your approach
A learning and growth mindset with a real passion for solving customer problems and delivering engaging solutions
Have a “start-up†mindset, and comfortable navigating complex problems and ambiguous situations, helping to break things down into manageable and actionable parts
Platform mentality, building for scale and reuse across multiple experiences
A mentality which continually searches for improvements, asking “why are we doing it this way†to ensure that “we’ve always done it this way†doesn’t win the day.
Ability to synthesize and articulate complex issues/initiatives to a broad array of audiences.

Capable of leading, influencing, and motivating colleagues without formal authority, and have a track record of building successful teams
The Team
You are a member of the One Stop Life Shop Neighborhood and Domain, and the Financial Wellness Product Area. You think and work across multiple Business Units, Domains, Neighborhoods, and Functions including Workplace Investing, Personal Investing, Marketing, User Experience Design, Content, Finance, Consumer Knowledge and Strategic Insights, Integrated Distribution, and Technology.
You work in partnership with Product Area leaders, Squad Leaders, and Chapter Leaders. By demonstrating and promoting Fidelity and agile leadership behaviors, you sustain and evolve our innovative agile culture.
