SCOPE + KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary focus of this role is to lead and oversee global Spring by Citi Core Operations and manage associated risks and controls. Reporting to the Spring by Citi Global Client Operations Head, this position will be the voice of core operations and will work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure an efficient, secure and stable Core Operations environment.

Risk responsibilities include:

• Working in close coordination with risk and control governance teams to ensure all applicable policies are adhered and frequent process reviews are conducted
• Own and drive the identification of change, its risk impact and management of delivering appropriate compliant mitigants, and systemic requirements
• Establish an appropriate engagement process with the Global Product Team to enable meaningful challenge and oversight and participate in risk management focused forums
• Ensure adherence to and establish operational risk policies for Spring by Citi Client Operations
• Maintain and manage the MCA and COB plan for core operations
• Ensure adherence to cross border data policies by partnering with local Spring by Citi product teams
• Track and publish all critical risk and control related metrics to key stakeholders
• Manage critical risks to resolution and escalate as required
• Keep abreast of latest operational risk management techniques and industry best practices

Core Operations responsibilities include:

• Represent the core operations perspective in all change and readiness discussions with partners and stakeholders
• Lead the Spring by Citi Core Operations team, which supports BAU processes globally from Mumbai and Chennai
• Oversee the operations process for large and complex deals
• Ensure the Core Operations Team is equipped and trained on new product capabilities and new country expansions, which require technology and new operational process development
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to department initiatives to implement process enhancements
• Mature Spring by Citi Target Operating model (TOM) scores
• Responsible for core operations incident management working with Technology, UAT and Production support
• Manage critical issues to resolution and escalate as required

KEY ATTRIBUTES

• Management skills to lead a complex organization environment with shifting priorities
• Knowledge and experience in cards acquiring business with understanding of the payments and receivables domain
• Strong governance and risk management skills for core operations
• Ability to lead meetings and coordinate activities for the cross-organizational team
