QTVI, QTMSI & QTOD Team Managers (x 3) Team: Specialist Teaching Service Location: Lancashire with hybrid working Salary: £46,566 to £51,402 (L5 to L9) We are currently recruitingÂ… 3 x Team Managers who are qualified to teach visually impaired, multisensory or Deaf learners to work within the Specialist Teaching Service at Lancashire County Council. You'll be part of a brand-new team in a recently restructured service, so whether you are an experienced Team Manager or Specialist Teacher looking to move into your first Team Manager role either way we want you! We are looking for engaging, qualified leaders and advocates for our service and service users who can influence stakeholders to see both the value in every child, irrespective of needs, and the value that STS and its team can provide. 

You'll manage teams of 10 - 13 people working across Lancashire made up of teachers, technicians and potentially habilitation officers and supporting service users from ages 0 to 25. You will be at the forefront of change and an expert in your specialism whether that's teaching visually impaired, Deaf or those with multisensory impairments. Your approach will represent not only our teams and organisation, but the Deaf/ Multisensory, Visually Impaired community allowing our children and young people to thrive. Across Lancashire you will promote our service, co-ordinate provision for sensory impaired learners and build professional relationships.  You will manage your own diary, so have the flexibility to create space to network and liaise with key professionals both internal to Lancashire County Council and external. We support 9,000 children and young people with specific educational requirements, therefore creative thinking is necessary regarding managing caseloads. It is crucial that you are an empathetic leader, demonstrating understanding and providing guidance when needed.
