Job Description

This role is a key position within the newly created Schooling - Planning and Management group responsible for leading and driving innovation and continuous improvement initiatives across the Schooling organization. The Project Manager will play an important role in helping to foster a culture of quality and excellence by successfully delivering projects on-time and within budget. 

The Project Manager will work closely with stakeholders to ensure that all project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are on track. Responsibilities include submitting project deliverables, preparing status reports, and establishing effective project communication plans as well as the proper execution of said plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of multiple projects

  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget

  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility

  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress

  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques

  • Measure performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques

  • Report and escalate to management as needed

  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

  • Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members

Competencies/Qualifications:

  • Proven working experience in project management

  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience

  • Experience with project management software tools
