Overview:

Perform tasks necessary to set up, maintain, run and troubleshoot potential problems.

 Perform one or more of the following duties:

 Set up and operate cartoner to maintain a continuous flow of product and be able to maintain (lubricate, clean, make operating adjustments, inspect chains, belts etc. for wear, service air filters and perform basic service for glue systems) and troubleshoot potential problems.

 Be able to assist mechanics when performing overhauls or part replacements.

Place case blanks into cartoner as needed to ensure continuous product flow.

Add glue pellets to glue pot as needed. Set up and maintain ink jet coders proper ink level and date code    requirements.

Setup up and check metal detector as needed.

Receive or re-supply area with case blanks, packaging, glue pellets, labels, etc. as needed.

Communicate operating or maintenance   problems with other case packer operators, leaders, maintenance and supervisors as needed.

Keep work areas clean and orderly.
Perform job in a safe and efficient manner 
Keep the Team Leader informed of job progress and unusual events or problems in the job area.
Keep any record or statistical charts as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
 

Must be able to pass a pre employment drug screen.

Must be able to pass a back ground check.
